How to remove air bubbles from your iPad screen protector?

Okay in my last post I talked about how great the anti glare screen protector by powerware is, and no matter how great the screen protector is you are bound to get an airbubble or two…so this how you prevent them  and remove them.

You will need:

Screen cleaner (if you buy the screen protector that I did it comes with it)

Eye glass cleaning cloth (the one from costco works great)

Credit card

Scotch tape

Step 1: have your screen off, and clean it with your screen cleaner, and buff it with your eye glass cleaning cloth if you can’t visual see any dust particles it is on to the next step.

Step 2: Don’t pull the screen completely off the sheet it came off, only pull about 2inches away and line up the power button, then slowly remove the rest of the backing as you slide the screen protector on.

Step 3: Here is where you might notice air bubbles….don’t try to smooth it just yet….look to see if any of the air bubbles have a specle of dust in the middle….if is as big as a grain of salt you have to remove it. carefully lift your screen protector till you have reached the speckle and take the tape and wrap it around your fingers (see picture)  and stick it to the dust to pull it off the screen protector. Repeat if necessary.

Step 4: Time to smooth the screen protector out, take the corner of your credit card and carefully push the bubbles out to the corner, keep repeating till all the bubbles are gone.
