Is Feedburner down? All my subscribers just went to ZERO??

So I went on to my blog tonight and I scrolled all the way to the bottom to see if I’ve gotten any new subscribers (which by the way if you haven’t subscribed yet…please do) Any way I was completely shocked to see that my once 167 subscribers was now zero?!?! ZERO!!!  WHAT?!? Where did they did all go???

I was freaking out and Google wasn’t telling me anything!?!  So I decided to go to twitter. Actually on a side note, twitter has been really good at giving up to date internet disaster problems…i.e when godaddy went down twitter was there for an answer…which didn’t bring the website back up, but I had an answer. COMMUNICATION PEOPLE! I really feel like I should have gotten an email from feedburner letting me know what’s going on…Ummm….is there a feedburner suggestion box anywhere?

Anyway, so I went to @feedburner and there it was….“Known Issue: Subscriber Counts and Stats: issue: We have been encountering difficulties with our stats production pipeline for data representing Sept 19th and 20th, 2012” Well here’s the problem Mr. Feedburner…it’s Sept 21st and you are still all messed up! Now what? Did I really loose all my subscribers? I started to get a little teary eyed…my subscribers mean so much to me…

I decided to dig a little deeper and I was hoping  just because it said zero I still had all my subscribers….

Well…it turns out…Yes…few!  So now would be a good time to back up your subscriber list.

And here is how you do it:

1) Log into your feedburner account

2) Click on the feed you wish to back up

3) Go to Publicize

4) Go to Email Subscribtions

5) View your subscriber details

6) And from there you can back it up 🙂
